New York Grill
Having already completed work in other restaurants within the group, when it came to the upgrade of 277 Broadway SKOPIK were asked by CTRL_ to design and install the technology in the New York Grill Restaurant.
From the restaurant’s background Audio to CCTV and the Wi-Fi / Data Network, SKOPIK worked with the restaurant’s designers and other trades to produce an incredible dining environment.
The restaurant wanted a simple, clean interface for staff to be able to program and manually control all services from lighting levels to music type and volume.
SKOPIK worked with the electrical team to interface all the feature and general lighting into the Control 4 Automation system.
Works Completed:
- Control4 automation system c/w 8 channel Control4 dimming controller, and 2x wired keypads for lighting control.
- Crown DriveCore 4-zone, 600-watt-per-channel DSP amplifier.
- Triad audio matrix, for distribution of audio to zones c/w:
– JBL commercial grade 180-degree coverage, weather-proof speakers in entrance and outdoor dining.
– JBL 6.5” full-range in-ceiling speakers in formal dining, casual dining and maître ‘d’ zones and JBL 8-satellite.
– 1-subwoofer system in central formal dining zone. - 27RU equipment rack, for housing of hardware.
- CAT6 Data Cabling.
- 5x UniFi AC Pro Wireless Access points, and configuration of network.
- GEN i7 workstation computer, to operate as server for Swiftpos, music source, CCTV viewing platform.
- 3kVa Double-Conversion, True Online UPS.
- Hikvision CCTV solution consisting of :
– 32 channel rack-mount Server with 10TB storage.
– Dual 27” Full HD monitors & premium wireless keyboard & mouse for viewing and control of footage. - 20x 5MP EXIR CCTV Cameras (in turret format).

Entain NZ – The Fulltime Sports Bar & Eatery

The state of the art audio visual system is what sets this venue apart from the rest. The sports bar features a total of 11 screens, including a 15m x 1.2m curved LED screen above the bar, a 3.5m x 2.4m LED main viewing wall, a 5.2m x 1.8m dedicated LED racing wall and a 2m x 1.6m video wall and two 85-inch and five 65-inch televisions.

As SKOPIK had worked with Vector looking after their IT infrastructure and technology relocations for a number of years, when it came time to move to their brand-new building in Carton Gore Rd, SKOPIK were the obvious choice to complete the new Cat6a Data and Fibre Cabling installation.

Since 2016, SKOPIK has continued to look after all Anderson Lloyd’s Audio Visual CCTV and Data requirements.
Starting with the full fitout and automation of the Main Boardroom, moving onto the CCTV and Data Outlet cabling, SKOPIK has worked closely with Anderson Lloyd to ensure they are at the leading edge of technology.

Southern Cross Hospitals

As they are the home to millions of dollars of surgical equipment and drug and treatment rooms throughout each location, this puts equipment and product accountability high on their priority list. Therefore, Southern Cross looked to a company that could not only supply Access Control and CCTV systems, but scope and design a complete integrated system linking every hospital in the country together including with their Head Office in Auckland.
Remuera Gardens Retirement Village

When a large Interior company was asked by Remuera Gardens Retirement Village to build a 45-person Cinema, their first call was to SKOPIK for the design and build.
SKOPIK looked after everything from sourcing and supplying the theatre seats and fabric types / colours through to the integration of the emergency LED floor lighting with the Electrical company.
