As one of New Zealand’s premium Retirement Village providers, Arvida Group needed to ensure their village in Queenstown was not just one of the most beautiful in the country but also high tech and user friendly.

Arvida looked to SKOPIK to design, supply and install the perfect Audio Visual system that incorporates seamlessly into the decor, but also has the quality audio and visual experience to rival any cinema, café or lounge bar.

SKOPIK took this challenge on board and delivered with what has been described as the perfect blend of aesthetics and quality that is required for such a beautiful environment and location.

The 49-seat theatre, background audio, TV Screens and seamless automation are extremely user friendly with both staff and residents raving about the experience.   

Works Completed:

  • 49 seat Cinema with 150’ Projector Screen.
  • 4K Epson Projector and Full 7.2.4 Dolby Atmos Theatre system.
  • Multi-zoned distributed Audio to speakers in the Lounges, Pool, Gym Outdoor area and Reception.
  • LED TVs through Lounges, Gym, Outdoor Areas and Reception.
  • Control 4 Automation throughout the Village.
  • LED lighting control.
  • Hearing Assistance Solution – Hearing Loop – 6 monthly IQP Service & Maintenance.
  • 6 monthly Service & Maintenance.

Full time bar profile

Entain NZ – The Fulltime Sports Bar & Eatery

The state of the art audio visual system is what sets this venue apart from the rest. The sports bar features a total of 11 screens, including a 15m x 1.2m curved LED screen above the bar, a 3.5m x 2.4m LED main viewing wall, a 5.2m x 1.8m dedicated LED racing wall and a 2m x 1.6m video wall and two 85-inch and five 65-inch televisions.

Southern Cross Hospitals

As they are the home to millions of dollars of surgical equipment and drug and treatment rooms throughout each location, this puts equipment and product accountability high on their priority list. Therefore, Southern Cross looked to a company that could not only supply Access Control and CCTV systems, but scope and design a complete integrated system linking every hospital in the country together including with their Head Office in Auckland.

Remuera Gardens Retirement Village

When a large Interior company was asked by Remuera Gardens Retirement Village to build a 45-person Cinema, their first call was to SKOPIK for the design and build. SKOPIK looked after everything from sourcing and supplying the theatre seats and fabric types / colours through to the integration of the emergency LED floor lighting with the Electrical company.
