Matakana House is currently being used as a holiday home, which required a ‘lock up and leave’ solution that gave our client the ability to monitor the house remotely. The fully-automated holiday home is equipped with Audio-visual, Security, CCTV and Wireless Network services, all accessible at the touch of a button via the Control4 app.

Working in collaboration with the client, Skopik designed a solution that fit our client’s specific requirements.

Consideration was taken to allow for flexibility with the current AV solution, keeping in mind that whilst the site is currently being used as a holiday home this could change in future, along with the need for future AV requirements.

Skopik ensured the pre-wire would allow for future high-tech innovations, whilst providing a quality solution for the client’s current needs.

Our client also required a state-of-the-art wireless solution throughout the home, including the deck, allowing for a fast and reliable internet connection.

This allowed him to work on his laptop anywhere in the house, as if he was in his office in Auckland.
